When will my order be shipped?
Your order will be shipped within 1-5 business days. We will of course do our best to do this as soon as possible!
Do you also ship to other countries?
Yes, within the EU.
Do I have to pay shipping costs?
Yes, everything is shipped with insured shipping at PostNL and DHL. Different rates apply here that we unfortunately have to pass on. PLEASE NOTE: everything is shipped insured to the delivery address and a signature is required to receive your order. You will receive a track & trace code from PostNL or DHL. So make sure you are present to receive the package.

PostNL insured shipping: the amount depends on the order value. The prices are shown at the check-out.

What happens if my order gets lost during shipping?
Oh no, what a shame this has happened! If your package is lost by the carrier, we will start an investigation together with the carrier. To start this investigation, you must make a statement that you really did not receive the package. After receiving this statement, the investigation will start. This can take 10 working days. In some cases this is shorter, but it can also take longer. If the carrier indeed confirms that the package has been lost, your order will be cancelled and you will receive your money back. This amount will be paid to you after the investigation has been completed.
What should I pay attention to when buying a vintage designer item?
All items you see in this webshop are second-hand and vintage and therefore worn with much love. Some items are still in perfect condition and other items need a little more love and attention. All items can have traces of use or imperfections. Even if it is stated that an item is in perfect condition, it is not in the same condition as when you buy it new in a store. Do you still not feel comfortable buying a second-hand item? Then buy it in the store at the brand.
Returns
Is it possible to return an item?
We are sorry to hear that you want to return your vintage item! We understand that you may change your mind about a purchase, so we kindly ask you to think carefully before making an impulsive purchase. The Bags List is a small business and maintaining quality and service is our top priority. Please note that each item is tagged. Returns will not be accepted if the tag has been removed from the item or is damaged.
PLEASE NOTE: Items purchased during a live sale event CANNOT be returned. These are sale items that you can see during a live stream. So don't buy these items if you are still in doubt.
How can I return something?
1. Send an email to hello@thebagslist.com with your order number and the confirmation email you received.
2. You will receive a message with the steps to return something.
3. When we receive the item in the same condition as it was sent (including the security tag still attached in the original way) we will refund your money within 5 working days.
Returns can only be shipped and not delivered to the return address. The Bags Lis does not have a showroom or shop and there is also not someone present at the return address every day. We do not accept returns if this is delivered to the return address.
Safe returns
Please note: for returns you must purchase a label from a carrier yourself. Returns are at your own risk, so make sure the package is shipped properly insured. The security tag must always be attached to the item undamaged, in exactly the same way as you received it. If the package gets lost during your return shipment, The Bags Lis is not responsible and not liable for this. So make sure you are well insured.
What is the safety tag?
Each item is provided with a safety tag. This tag can be easily removed and does not damage the bag. Do you still want to return your item? Then this safety tag must be attached to the item in the same, original way. So make sure that it is not damaged or removed, or attached in a different way than how you received it. Returns are only accepted if the original tag is undamaged and attached to the item in the same way.
Authentication
Are the designer items in this webshop authentic? Are they real?
Yes. Nowadays there are many good fake designer items, that's why we take the authentication process very seriously. We work with Entrupy's advanced Luxury Authentication solution and with Legit Grails. This advanced service combines the precision of AI software with the expertise of experienced authenticators to accurately assess every item in our collection.
The Bags Lis is not affiliated with any of the brands offered. All copyrights are reserved to the original brand owners. We guarantee 100% authenticity of all our products. Each item is carefully checked by experts.
What does the authentication process for designer handbags look like?
We work with 2 processes.
Process 1 for items without certificates: Some items are not produced on the counterfeit market, for example because the model is not popular. These items are first checked for authenticity by a third party and then also by us. Only when we are 100% sure that it is an authentic item, we launch it in one of our sales drops.
Please note: items from €1000 always come with a certificate of authenticity. This can be the original certificate from the brand, or an authenticity certificate from a third party company such as Master Authentication, Entrupy or Legit Grails.
Process 2: Items that pass the third-party certification process will first be authenticated by the AI authentication software. After this step is approved, the items will be manually checked by professional authenticators. Only when this last step is approved, we will receive the certificate of authenticity, which guarantees the authenticity of the items.
Your trust is our highest priority! We do everything we can to always be a reliable webshop for authentic luxury items.
Are you buying an item under 1000 euros and still want a certificate of authenticity?
You can request that. When paying 50 euros for Chanel and Hermès items and 35 euros for all other brands, we can have a certificate of authenticity drawn up by an external party.
How is the condition of a second-hand designer item determined?
We strive to be as detailed as possible. Please note that we sell second-hand designer items here, they may all have signs of wear or imperfections. To help you further understand the condition and quality, we work with a rating system:
10/10: As new - Pre-owned without tags.
9/10: excellent - No notable defects.
8/10: Great - Minor flaws, very light signs of wear.
7/10: very good - Some signs of wear visible.
6/10: Good - Clear signs of wear and tear, but still very usable.
5/10: Fair - Obvious signs of wear and defects, this item is in need of repair.
If there are (light) signs of wear, we will highlight the defects in the description or photos. All items are priced according to their condition. If the bag has been to a bag spa, we will mention this in the description.
Shopping and Cancellation
Can I come by and view an item before I buy it?
Unfortunately not. We only work online and do not have time slots for visitors. We try to make photos as clear as possible and also post videos of each item on our Instagram. If there are any defects or signs of wear, we will specifically highlight them. If you need more photos or videos, please feel free to contact us. The best way to do this is to send an email to hello@thebagslist.com or send us a DM on Instagram!
Can I cancel my order?
We're sorry to hear that you want to cancel your order :-( All orders are shipped within 72 hours. If you want to cancel right after you place your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Send an email to hello@thebagslist.com with the subject: CANCEL {{ordernummer}}

What is a Livesale?
Live sales are online events where The Bags List will livestream on social media such as Facebook, Tiktok and Instagram.
What are the rules?
The rules of a live sale are announced at the beginning of the live sale. You must adhere to them.
Can I return items purchased during a live sale?
During a live sale we show all bags as good as possible. Because it is a live session you also have the chance to ask questions or see certain parts. The items are shown in detail with all imperfections, damage and irregularities. Live sale items are sold with a discount, these are sale items that you can no longer return.
WINNING ACTIONS

Participation in Contests
a. Participation in our competitions is always free, unless stated otherwise.
b. You participate once you have responded to a social media post from The Bags List, or if you have completed a registration form (if applicable).
c. Only one entry per person per promotion is permitted.
d. Participation is only possible for persons aged 18 years or older.
e. Employees, friends and family members of The Bags List are excluded from participation. -
Duration & Notification
a. The start and end dates of the promotion, as well as the time of announcement of the winner(s), will always be stated in the relevant social media post or on the form.
b. The winner will be chosen impartially by drawing lots. -
Liability & Conditions
a. The Bags List reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the promotion at any time or to discontinue the promotion without giving any reason.
b. All items in our webshop, including any prizes, are second-hand. It is possible that the won items show signs of use or minor damage. The winner accepts this condition and is responsible for any repairs. -
Personal data
a. We do not share personal data of participants with external parties unless explicit permission has been given for this, for example to receive a newsletter from a third party.
b. The personal data we collect may be used internally to send the The Bags List newsletter, provided the participant has given permission for this.
c. All data will be processed in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. -
Winners & Prizes
a. The winner will be informed personally via the social media channel on which the promotion took place or by email, if applicable.
b. If the winner does not report within one week of announcement, a new winner will be selected.
c. It is not possible to exchange a won item for another product or for a sum of money.
d. Participants who have not won will not be notified. -
Fraud & Unlawful Participation
a. The Bags List reserves the right to exclude participants if there is suspicion of unlawful participation or fraud. -
Applicable Law

Payments
Do I have to pay VAT on second-hand goods?
We are legally required to charge 21% VAT. Because these are second-hand items, we work with a margin scheme. VAT is included in the price but is not shown on the invoice.
Do I have to pay bank charges for international payments?
Yes, all charges related to payments or other additional bank charges are paid by you. This includes all bank charges during the purchase and/or return of an item.
Tax & Customs
What value do you declare on customs forms?
We mark our customs forms as used items (without mentioning the brand). The amount we mention is the amount you paid for the item(s).
Customs charges.
For international purchases, please be aware that customs charges may apply and it is the buyer's responsibility to cover these costs. In cases where customs charges remain unpaid, resulting in the order being returned to us, we will issue a refund equal to 80% of the order value, minus any administrative costs incurred. It is important to note that we cannot accept returns based solely on unpaid import duties.
Who has to pay customs charges?
The buyer of the item is responsible for any customs duties or taxes applied by his/her country.
