Warranty Policy – The Bags List
At The Bags List, we are committed to providing you with an authentic and high-quality designer bag. We are not a manufacturer, but an online store that carefully selects pre-owned and vintage designer bags. Therefore, we maintain a fair and transparent warranty policy, including a goodwill arrangement as an additional service.
100% Authenticity Guarantee
We guarantee that all bags in our collection are 100% authentic. Each item is carefully checked by us for authenticity. If a bag unexpectedly turns out not to be authentic? Then you will receive the full purchase amount back after returning the item.
Quality & Condition
Our bags are selected and evaluated with great care. As these are second-hand items, light signs of use may be present.
We always state this honestly in the product description and in the photos. Please note: some defects may only become visible with use — this is unfortunately a known risk with vintage items.
Warranty & Goodwill (up to 6 weeks after purchase)
As we are not the manufacturer, we cannot offer a factory warranty. However, we are happy to do something extra for our customers:
If something breaks within 6 weeks of purchase, with normal use?
Then, as a gesture of goodwill, we offer a (partial) reimbursement for the repair costs. The reimbursement is up to 10% of the purchase amount, depending on the bag and type of repair. This applies to:

Broken handles or straps

Loose stitching at stress points

Hardware spontaneously coming loose, without clear signs of use

Lining coming loose (which comes loose on first use, but was not visible during inspection)
- Glue coming loose at seams or finishes
- Construction problems that only become visible with normal use
Signs of wear that arise from normal use are not covered by this arrangement. These include, but are not limited to:

Stains, dirt or discolouration that occur with wear

Wear and tear on edges, corners or handles

Scratches on leather or hardware
- Please note: if the leather tab of the zipper on a Speedy is pulled, it will break. Torn or broken leather zipper tabs on the Speedy are NOT covered by the warranty.
Please note: damage due to rough use, overloading or careless handling of the bag is not covered by this arrangement.
